again malware was detected. at this point i'm going to suggest it is time to stop with this item. it is plainly going to keep failing to pass virus tests.

Does the site still check for malware even after the item goes dark?

It's been 9 days and if so, that's a lot of time where it could've detected malware.

the item is dark because once again malware was detected. sorry but i'm not going to continue to undark it only to have it re-dark due to malware.

How about this? I make a new item, but I won't upload the following folders:

Datel and RVT-H Disc Images
Extracted Data
GameCube
iQue
Misc
Not Yet Categorized
Other Consoles
Press Kits
SDKs
Software MacKiev
VGMTrans - BRSAR / SiIva
VIP Goodies
Wii

I think that these are all the folders that have a chance of having malware detected in it. And if there is malware detected in those items, we can discuss it.

To offer a different idea:

Consider uploading each file individually using a csv and the Internet Archive Python Library:

https://archive.org/services/docs/api/internetarchive/

Then items which flag as malware are removed and the rest will remain. Depending on the number of files the staff may be willing to make a collection to group them together. This post was modified by Swizzley on 2021-01-01 20:12:01
